Nutbuttery Goodness

It was my birthday recently and the famalam, knowing I’m on a quest to only put good things  into my belly, got me a shakemaker. IT’S AMAZING!

Those that have read some of my food / nutrition related posts before will be aware that I don’t eat meat and am often asked, “but what about your protein” and other such nonsense. Well, today, I give you a protein & carbohydrate loaded goodness in a glass. All natural. No meats. Pure Joy.

NutButtery Goodness in a glass

For all of you after a protein hit that doesn’t use powders, this bad boy will do the trick.

  • tablespoon of peanut butter
  • teaspoon or so of chia seeds
  • handful of spinach
  • 1 banana
  • fill it up with almond milk

And that’s it. Pure natural protein goodness. Great to have before a workout as loads you up on a few carbs too! I probably put too much peanut butter in my first one, but I saved half the mix in a glass in the fridge for when I got back and it turned into a delicious nutbuttery type pudding! win win.
